Student Pastor - South Park campus

This full time position will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing Biblically based, relevant, engaging and age appropriate programming for the middle and high school students at the South Park campus.  Other responsibilities include:

  • Creating a culturally relevant and engaging atmosphere that will attract students (both churched and un-churched) of diverse backgrounds with the goal of helping them grow as disciples who Know, Grow and Go.
  • Responsible for communicating Biblical truth in a way that is engaging and relevant to the issues they face.
  • Oversee, develop and encourage adult and student volunteers who serve and assist with shepherding students.
  • Encourage and develop activities that will increase student attendance in worship services.
  • Develop, plan and oversee all retreats, camps, mission projects and other scheduled events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents of youth.
  • Develop and administer the student ministry budget.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be a committed follower of Jesus Christ
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be energetic and self-directed
  • Be an entrepreneurial and visionary leader
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in student ministry
  • Have a degree from a 4-year university or college

LittleKids LifeGroup Director - Fort Mill Campus

This full time, 30-hour a week position will develop all aspects of LifeGroups and Large Groups for ages 3-TK as well as overseeing the Nursery (birth-age 2).  Responsibilities include:

  • recruiting, managing, developing and training LifeGroup directors and nursery volunteers
  • in collaboration with an all-campus team, implementing and facilitating a Large Group lesson,
  • serving as the "point person" on Sunday morning in the Little Kids hallway which includes welcoming families, working with the hall hosts to manage all aspects of the morning: securely checking children in and out, being available to leaders as needed, managing classrooms overflow, overseeing volunteers, ensuring secure transition to and from the Art Studio, and contacting parents, if needed, during the service.
  • Participate in camps, family events, retreats, trainings, etc as needed

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be a committed follower of Jesus Christ
  • Have a passion for sharing the gospel with children
  • Have experience working and interacting with children
  • Be highly relational
  • Be able to communicate effectively with parents
  • Have the ability to manage and develop others which includes giving direction and constructive guidance t
  • Have the ability to to teach in front of a large group
  • Training and/or experience with child development preferred
  • Experience in Forest Hill's children's environments preferred

 

Kids@FHC Creative Content Producer

This full time position is responsible for creating and implementing video and online elements for Little Kids, Big Kids and Families.  This includes brainstorming creative ways to tell Bible Stories, storyboarding and writing video scripts, helping design video and graphic pieces, and other elements necessary for each environment.  This role will also shoot and edit videos as well as assist, as needed, to create and produce other content and elements.  Qualified candidates will have strong skills with Adobe products including Premiere (or Final Cut) InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.  Experience with After Effects and/or Motion is a plus.  In addition, this person must be an excellent creative thinker, work well on a creative team, and have strong upfront and camera skills.  Interested candidates should send their resumes and samples to HR
